Mental Health Agency of Southeast Iowa (MHASEI) is here to collaborate with people to provide welcoming, integrated and individualized services that create opportunities to improve lives.
MHASEI is a Mental Health & Disability Services (MHDS) Region composed of thirteen counties. All counties have a local access office where people may apply for service funding, receive referrals and get questions answered. MHASEI serves individuals in Appanoose, Davis, Des Moines, Henry, Jefferson, Keokuk, Lee, Louisa, Mahaska, Monroe, Van Buren, Wapello, and Washington counties.
MHASEI provides residents of Southeast Iowa with the resources needed to help manage mental health and intellectual/developmental disabilities.
MHASEI will work in a quality improvement partnership with stakeholders in MHASEI (providers, families, individuals, and partner health and human service systems), other MHDS/CBH Regions and Managed Care Organizations to develop an integrated system of care approach that is characterized by the following principles and values:
